Travelling Bag Concept

I'd love to see a ramshackle character carrying this! I kind of like the idea that as he has to carry more stuff, he just sews more pockets or hoops onto it.
The only thing I'm not sure about are the big zig zag stitches on the coloured-in version, which would serve no practical purpose as stitches that small, numerous ones wouldn't already fulfill. Otherwise, I love this concept!
